Immune System Juice

2 medium size oranges
2 tbsp of turmeric powder
2 tbsp of ginger powder
1/2 of a fresh lemon

If you ever feel tired, unwell and have a sore throat, give this recipe a go! It is smoothing and nutritious drink to fight off viruses. When you think of using oranges in recipes, you might instantly think of a summer drink. By incorporating oranges with other spices can actually boost up your immune system, plus lots of healthy vitamins!
If you have a juicer, start off by juicing your oranges. I didn’t have one and used my blender instead.
Put all your oranges into the blender, start by blending your oranges with 1/4 cup of water, add more as you go.
Once your oranges has been blended, add turmeric and ginger powder as well as the juice of 1/2 of the lemon.
Blend all ingredients together until a smooth consistency. Taste the blend before serving.
Before you pour the blend into a serving cup. Put your blend through the strainer and mash the pulp against it with the back of a spoon.
Pour the juice into desired cup, and finish it off with a metal straw. I’ve been using Erthe Life straws in most of my cold drinks. Let me know how this goes!
