Greyson Chance "Hold On 'Til The Night" Album Cover ClevverTV July 15th 2011!

GC made the artwork release via his official Twitter page, adding that he hopes we all like it as much as he does. We're digging that his sweet black and white piano -- which remember he told us that he designed himself -- is included. In fact, Greyson is sitting on it in a sketched city road, looking like a serious version of his friendly self! We did notice that one of the musician's favorite items is missing from the photo

ClevverTV was on-hand in Hollywood last night for a packed-out Cody Simpson Greyson Chance concert. All the inside scoop is coming up right now!

Welcome back to ClevverTV guys. I'm Joslyn Davis in the studio with inside scoop from no joke, one of the best, most fun concerts I've been to in a very long time. My partner in crime Dana Ward and I had the awesome opportunity to go to see Cody Simpson and Greyson Chance in Hollywood last night -- they hit the stage at the House of Blues in front of what looked to be a sold-out crowd. When the duo started their portion of the concert, the lights dimmed, music started, and Greyson came walking out on the stage, took a sheet off his amazing looking piano, and then just when we thought he was about to start doing his thing solo-style, Dana, who standing right next to me like "oh my gosh it's Cody!" And then we saw Cody on the stage too playing his guitar, and yes the crowd went crazy! C and G did a bit of an instrumental jam-out, then they introduced themselves, and after a bit Cody left the stage and Greyson put on the most amazing show ever. His voice is seriously off the charts. After he wrapped, Cody hit the stage with two dancers. Again the crowd loved the performance and so did we -- you could just feel the positive vibe in the house of blues. Also, since it was in LA, a ton of our fav celebs were on hand. We ran into Ryan Ochoa, Savvy and Mandy. We also saw Ariel Winter and a ton of other Hollywood celebs like Ariana Grande were there too. Oh and as an awesome bonus, Shane Harper from Good Luck Charlie was one of the openers, and guess who joined him on stage? His co-star Bridgit Mendler. They performed together which was amazing! It was a great show -- and we have to give a big thank you to Cody and Greyson for having us out! IF you have a chance to catch their show, you absolutely have to! Thanks for watching ClevverTV guys, make sure to sub our channel for more music updates just like this one. I'm Joslyn Davis have a great day!

Teen singer Greyson Chance compares himself to young Bowie

By Christina Fuoco Karasinski | Contributing Writer

ROYAL OAK — Teenage pop-rock singer Greyson Chance has placed some pretty heavy expectations on himself for his tour which comes to the Royal Oak Music Theatre on Sunday. He’s confident in his music and likens himself to a young Thin White Duke.

“If I could compare it to anything, I would think of what David Bowie would do when he was 13,” Chance told The Flint Journal. “That’s somewhat what I’m doing. It’s a very theatrical show. It’s very dramatic and it’s a rock ‘n’ roll show.”

Chance became a household name after the then-sixth-grader posted a YouTube clip of himself performing Lady Gaga’s “Paparazzi” at a choir event in his hometown of Edmond, Okla., last April. The video was eventually viewed by more than 30 million people and led to a performance two weeks later on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.” A week after that, he reappeared on the talk show and, during that visit, DeGeneres announced she had signed the youngster to her newly formed record label eleveneleven.

“Working with Ellen is great,” Chance said. “She’s so supportive of everything I do, and she’s such an inspiration, and she’s become a very good friend, too. So I love working with her.”

But meeting Lady Gaga is up there on his list of favorite happenings since his video went viral.

“I met Gaga a couple times and that was probably my most starstruck thing ever,” he said. “I love Gaga. She’s a huge inspiration.”

Even with his newfound fame, Chance said, his friends back home have been very supportive of his career.

“I’m not really around Edmund a lot,” he said. “I kind of live in L.A. now, making the record. But my new home is the tour bus. I’m not really a normal schoolboy anymore. My friends are very, very supportive and I go back every now and again.”

As Chance mentioned, he recently wrapped up work on his debut album with a team of producers including songwriter/producer and Geffen Records chairman Ron Fair. The first single, “Waiting Outside the Lines” was recently the No. 1 physical single in the country for four straight weeks. The album has no name yet and no release date, although it will be sent to stores this year.

“The album’s been coming along so great,” he said. “It’s a pop-rock sound, but I think people are going to be very surprised with it. It’s a very deep record, and I think people are really going to see that.

“I wrote the record from, really, my experiences and my passion. The record is mainly about heartbreak, so that’s where I got inspiration for it. It was very fun. If I can say so myself, it’s a pretty good record. It’s going to go very far.”

In support of the collection, Chance is touring with Australian Cody Simpson, who also posted YouTube videos of himself performing covers of songs by artists who inspired him. His favorites include Justin Timberlake, Jason Mraz and Michael Jackson.

“I’m so excited for the tour with Cody,” Chance said. “I think it’s going to be great, because it’s really going to be showing two different sides of pop music. I think it’s going to be a great thing for our fans to see.

“People judge pop music to be one type of music. I think on this tour, they’ll be able to see different sides and the differences between me and Cody. Cody’s more of a dance-pop and I’m more of a pop-rock thing. I think it’s going to be really good. Hopefully I can go pretty far. I’m looking to please my fans and just make good music and put on a great show.”
