Your first single ‘Waiting Outside The Lines’ has become a huge hit. Did you expect for it to be so well received?
I always hoped for it. Its done an outstanding job, and I’m so happy with it. I have a new single out now called ‘Unfriend You’ that I’m excited for as well and hope it does as well as my first.
Your debut album ‘Hold On ‘Til The Night’ will be released in August. What was the process like recording it?
Recording the album has taken a year, so I’ve been through so many emotions. There have been days where I’ve been angry, some days where I’ve been sad, some days I’ve been happy. It’s been an amazing process and so much fun.
You wrote the majority of the songs off your upcoming album. Does writing come naturally to you?
Sometimes it does. I’ve been writing for years now. I started very slim and would just go for it and eventually the melody would come by. Going through process of recording the album has made me become stronger, so its sometimes comes naturally.
Obviously, you must be excited about your album coming out, but what other things are you feeling?
I’m just anxious. I’ve wanted August 2nd to come so badly. Especially when releasing new record, there’s a lot of nervousness coming through. I’m so excited for everyone to hear it. I think it’s going to do pretty well. It’s a great record, if I do say so myself.

GC made the artwork release via his official Twitter page, adding that he hopes we all like it as much as he does. We're digging that his sweet black and white piano -- which remember he told us that he designed himself -- is included. In fact, Greyson is sitting on it in a sketched city road, looking like a serious version of his friendly self! We did notice that one of the musician's favorite items is missing from the photo
